John Machak

John began his financial career in 2002 with The Hartford, focusing on investment products. After five years, his passion for offering more personalized, holistic financial advice led him to become a financial planner in 2008. Drawing on his extensive experience with investment products, John helps clients effectively manage and preserve their wealth.  In 2012, John co-founded The Wealth Factory, aiming to provide trusted financial guidance to the Central Pennsylvania community. Their practice is built on offering reliable, relationship-driven advice.

Outside of work, John values family time with his wife, Laura, and their two sons, Johnny and Paul. A lifelong tennis enthusiast and former college coach, he still plays regularly. John and his family reside in Williamsport, PA. 

John is also active in his community.  He is a founding board member of Dwell Orphan Care and has served on the membership engagement committee for the Central PA Chamber of Commerce.  Currently, John coaches the Wealth Factory Little League baseball team in Williamsport.

He earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University and his Masters of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Missouri. John holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 certifications through LPL Financial, as well as Life, Accident, and Health licenses.
